Registration

The conference is open to representatives of print and electronic media. Registration is free of charge to journalists who are in possession of a valid, recognised press card. Freelance journalists must present a commissioning letter on headed paper from a recognised news organisation or publication.

The following are needed in order to register:

1. Copy of ID card or passport.

2. A letter of accreditation on official letterhead signed from the Publisher or Editor-in-Chief (or the News Editor for radio/TV).

3. A copy of national/international press card valid through 2014.

Any accompanying staff (sound engineers, cameramen, support staff, etc.) should also be similarly registered.

To register please proceed to the registration page.

Please send any enquiries/questions to ICTR-PHE-journalist-support@cern.ch.

Media registration in advance is strongly recommended. This enables us to deal with any queries or problems in advance. However, on-site registration will be possible on the presentation of the above listed documents.

Press briefing

There will be a press briefing on Monday, 10 February morning at CERN. Registered journalists will be contacted by email with details.
